Lootbox Rules

These Lootbox Rules govern the use of ScopliDrop's lootbox features, ScopliPoints, and prize mechanics. They supplement and form part of our Terms of Service. In case of conflict between these Rules and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevail.

1. Overview

The ScopliDrop lootbox is how we reward our most active community members. Spin daily through the Guild Chest by voting on Top.gg, earn ScopliPoints by participating in our Discord, play mini-games against other members, and unlock additional rewards as you go. It's built around one idea: the more you engage, the more you get back.

2. Earning ScopliPoints

ScopliPoints is our community engagement metric. Earn them by being an active part of ScopliDrop.

You can earn ScopliPoints by:

  • Voting for ScopliDrop on Top.gg
  • Chatting and being active on our official Discord server
  • Playing social mini-games between community members
  • Completing offers through our integrated offerwall (third-party tasks such as surveys, free app installs, or sign-ups, when available)
  • Participating in seasonal events and other engagement features we introduce over time

3. Using ScopliPoints

You can use ScopliPoints to:

  • Play social mini-games against other community members (such as /economy connectfour)
  • Bid in our community auctions for featured rewards
  • Unlock additional engagement-based boxes when those become available
  • Spend in our ScopliPoints shop on curated rewards (planned future addition, not yet live)
  • Participate in future community features designed around active membership

4. No Monetary Value

ScopliPoints are an internal engagement metric and have no monetary value. They cannot be:

  • Purchased with money
  • Sold or traded between accounts
  • Exchanged for cash or any monetary equivalent
  • Withdrawn from the platform in any form

Any attempt to monetize, sell, or trade ScopliPoints outside the platform will result in account suspension and ScopliPoints forfeiture.

Any price shown next to a prize (for example a game listed at €19.99) is that item's approximate retail reference value, typically its Steam store price, shown for context only. It is not a cash value, a guarantee of resale value, or an entitlement to that amount in money. Some prizes are delivered on other stores (for example Minecraft Legends on the Microsoft Store), and retail prices can change and may differ by region.

5. Offerwall Participation

For users who want additional ways to earn ScopliPoints, ScopliDrop integrates a third-party offerwall through which you can complete optional tasks (such as surveys, free trials, or app installs) provided by external advertising partners. Offerwall tasks are entirely optional and never required.

When you complete an offerwall task, the third-party provider verifies completion and credits ScopliPoints to your account. Offerwall providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which apply to your interaction with their tasks. ScopliDrop does not control offerwall task availability, completion verification timing, or partner-side reward decisions, but we will assist in good faith if you encounter issues with a credited or pending reward.

We carefully select offerwall partners and avoid tasks involving misleading subscriptions, predatory financial products, or content inappropriate for our user base. If you encounter an offerwall task that feels deceptive or inappropriate, please report it to our support team.

For the full offerwall participation rules, including anti-fraud requirements (no VPN/proxy use, no multi-accounting, no automation, no emulators), crediting and reversal mechanics, and consequences for violations, see our Offerwall Terms. The Offerwall Terms are binding on all offerwall participants.

6. Auctions and ScopliPoints Shop

Earned ScopliPoints can be spent on real rewards in two ways.

Auctions

Auctions are live on the platform. Members bid earned ScopliPoints on featured rewards, and the highest bidder at auction close wins the item. ScopliPoints used as bids are deducted from your balance immediately, and bids that don't win are refunded to your account when the auction closes. Auctions typically feature items such as Discord Nitro, server boosts, gift cards, and other curated rewards.

ScopliPoints Shop

The ScopliPoints shop is planned as a future addition to the platform. Once live, the shop will offer rewards at fixed ScopliPoints prices, allowing members to redeem their earned points for items they want directly rather than through competitive bidding. Shop availability and pricing will be announced when the feature launches.

Both auctions and the shop are powered exclusively by ScopliPoints earned through community engagement. ScopliPoints cannot be purchased with money, so all rewards available through these systems are ultimately earned through participation and not through payment. Items won through auctions or (in the future) the shop are subject to the same manual redemption process and 30-day claim window described in the Manual Prize Redemption section below.

7. Spin Fairness and RNG

Each lootbox spin uses cryptographically secure, server-side random number generation. Your prize is determined and recorded in our database before the spin animation begins. The animation is purely visual and cannot be influenced by user actions during the spin, by browser behavior, or by any client-side manipulation.

Every spin is independently fair, outcomes cannot be predicted or altered, and the visible animation is a presentation layer over a result that has already been decided server-side.

8. Prize Categories

The lootbox awards three primary categories of prizes, plus an additional sponsored category.

ScopliPoints

ScopliPoints add to your engagement metric and can be used as described above.

Discount Coupons

Coupons are single-use codes providing discounted billing on ScopliDrop subscriptions. See "Coupon Eligibility" below for full details. Coupons cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash.

Manual Prizes

Manual prizes include Discord Nitro subscriptions, server boosts, ScopliDrop subscription credits, gift cards, and similar digital items we add over time. These can be awarded directly by the lootbox or made available through our community auctions and (in the future) our ScopliPoints shop. Manual prizes require redemption through our support team.

Sponsored Prizes

From time to time, the lootbox may feature prizes provided or sponsored by partner brands. Sponsored prizes are clearly identified as such when awarded and are subject to any specific terms set by the sponsoring partner (such as regional availability, age restrictions, or platform requirements). We select sponsored prizes that align with our community values and disclose material partnership relationships transparently.

9. Player-Friendly Design

We want the lootbox to be a fun, light reward for active members, not a pressure mechanic. The design choices below reflect that intent.

  • Free to play.Spins are unlocked through community participation, never through payment. You can't pay to spin, pay to skip, pay to improve odds, or pay to access additional boxes.
  • No urgency tactics.No countdown timers designed to induce panic, no "last chance" prompts, no fear-of-missing-out engineering.
  • Honest outcomes.What you win is what you see. The spin animation is purely cosmetic over a server-side result that's already decided, with no engineered slowdowns, no deliberate near-miss positioning, and no presentation tricks designed to misrepresent your outcome.
  • Engagement, not volume. The system rewards consistent community participation rather than rewarding users who interact the most.
  • Engagement separate from billing. ScopliPoints, lootbox outcomes, and our paid subscription tiers are entirely separate systems. Earning more ScopliPoints does not give you discounts on subscriptions, and paying for a subscription does not give you more spins.

If we ever introduce a feature that materially changes any of the above, we'll document it clearly and explain why.

10. Age Requirements

Lootbox participation follows the same age requirements as the rest of ScopliDrop:

  • 13 years old globally, in line with Discord's minimum age requirement
  • 15 years old for EU residents, in line with the French GDPR digital consent age (Article 8 GDPR / Loi Informatique et Libertés)
  • Users below the applicable minimum age require explicit, verifiable parental consent

If you are a parent, guardian, or educator with concerns about how a minor is using ScopliDrop, please contact our support team via Discord. We'll assist with account review or restriction in good faith.

11. Coupon Eligibility

Coupons won through the lootbox are governed by the following eligibility rules:

All coupons are single-use and personal to the winner. They expire 72 hours after being awarded. Each coupon provides 3 months of discounted billing on the applicable subscription tier. Coupons cannot be sold, traded, gifted, or exchanged for cash, and have no value outside the ScopliDrop platform.

12. Manual Prize Redemption

For Discord Nitro, server boosts, subscription prizes, and similar manual prizes, you must contact our support team via Discord support ticket within 30 days of winning to claim your prize.

To deliver these prizes, we process your Discord ID and any contact information you provide during the claim process. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle this data.

We aim to honor all valid manual prize claims within a reasonable timeframe after a complete claim is submitted. If you encounter difficulty during the claim process, please contact support directly. We're committed to working with winners in good faith.

Unredeemed manual prizes expire after 30 days. This window keeps the prize pool circulating to active winners. Late claims will be reviewed case by case but we cannot guarantee fulfillment beyond the 30-day window.

13. Subscription Prize Transfers

Subscription prizes won through the lootbox may be transferred to another user under specific conditions. The recipient must be someone who has never held any ScopliDrop subscription, whether paid or won. Transfers must be coordinated through our support team. This policy ensures subscription prizes benefit users who haven't yet experienced our premium features.

Transfer requests outside these conditions will be respectfully declined.

14. Display Anomalies

In rare cases, particularly when a user switches browser tabs or windows during the spin animation, the lootbox visual may briefly display an incorrect outcome. This is a display rendering issue, not a prize allocation issue.

Your actual prize is determined server-side before the animation begins and recorded in our database the moment it's generated. You can verify your real prize at any time in your profile inventory. In the event of any visual discrepancy, we honor the prize recorded in our system.

If you believe you experienced a display anomaly, please contact support with screenshots or recordings if possible. Your inventory record is the authoritative source of truth.

15. Fair Play and Abuse Review

ScopliDrop reviews engagement and prize activity to keep the system fair for everyone. We may suspend, revoke, or deny prizes when we identify clear patterns of abuse that compromise the integrity of the lootbox or ScopliPoints economy.

Behavior that triggers review includes use of automation, bots, or scripts to farm engagement; creating multiple accounts to exploit eligibility rules; coordinated multi-account activity designed to inflate rewards; attempting to exploit bugs or display anomalies to claim unearned prizes; and reselling or trading ScopliPoints, coupons, or any prize in violation of these Rules.

When we identify suspected abuse, our process is:

  1. Review the relevant account activity
  2. Where appropriate, contact the user to provide an opportunity to clarify
  3. Make a determination based on the totality of the evidence
  4. Apply a proportionate response, ranging from a warning to forfeiture, suspension, or platform ban depending on severity

Users who believe a fair use action was taken in error may contact support to request review. We commit to handling all reviews promptly and in good faith.

16. Prize Pool and Odds

The lootbox prize pool and odds are managed through automated systems designed for long-term fairness and sustainability. The prize pool automatically adjusts based on account status (for example, subscription prizes you already own are removed from your eligible pool so your spins compete for prizes that are actually valuable to you).

Lootbox odds may also be adjusted to reflect a member's engagement profile. Sustained, genuine community participation (active chatting, consistent voting, mini-game participation, account longevity) may improve your odds of higher-value rewards, in line with our principle of rewarding active members. Suspected manipulation (alt-farming, spam, scripted activity) may reduce or zero your engagement weighting. We do not publish exact odds to prevent gaming the system, but the underlying logic always favors genuine engaged members.

ScopliDrop reserves the right to adjust prize distribution, odds, and eligibility criteria over time. Material changes will be communicated through this page and our Discord community.

17. Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are prohibited and may result in lootbox access removal, ScopliPoints forfeiture, prize denial, or full platform bans:

  • Using bots, scripts, or automation to interact with the lootbox, mini-games, or chat
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent eligibility rules or farm rewards
  • Reselling, trading, or attempting to monetize ScopliPoints, coupons, or any other lootbox reward
  • Exploiting bugs, display errors, or race conditions to claim unearned prizes
  • Engaging in harassment or abuse of support staff during prize disputes
  • Misrepresenting your age or identity to access features
  • Manipulating chat activity (spam, bot-driven messages, copy-paste farming) to game the chat-to-earn mechanic

Enforcement follows the procedures documented in our Terms of Service.

18. Updates to These Rules

These Lootbox Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in available prizes, eligibility criteria, platform mechanics, or applicable law. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

We recommend reviewing these Rules periodically if you actively participate in the lootbox.
