Simple answer: ScopliDrop is a giveaway platform that helps Discord communities host contests and promotions, operated under the commercial name Scoplify.

We handle two types of data relationships: sometimes we control your data directly (like when you create an account), and sometimes we process data on behalf of giveaway hosts who actually control it (like when you enter their contests). This means both we and the giveaway organizers have responsibilities to protect your information.
💡 Privacy-First Approach: We collect only the minimum data needed to run giveaways, contact winners, and prevent fraud. Fraud-prevention data that is more identifying — like raw IP addresses and device fingerprints — is kept on a short retention window (90 days) and is accessible only to our internal team. We don't want or need sensitive information from our users.
The r/GiveawaysOnDiscord bot is a separate broadcasting service that relays approved Reddit posts to Discord servers. It collects significantly less data than the main ScopliDrop platform:
This bot does not collect any personal data from individual server members. It only stores server-level configuration and publicly available Reddit content.
We're transparent about data collection: We never collect information secretly. Here's exactly when and how we gather data:
Discord provides us with your basic profile info when you click "Login with Discord" (you'll see Discord's permission screen first)
We record which tasks you've finished and verify completion through public APIs (like checking if you joined a Discord server)
Standard website analytics (like page views) and security monitoring to prevent abuse
Server admins provide server details and giveaway settings to create and manage contests
🚫 What We DON'T Collect:
Every piece of data serves a specific purpose. We don't collect information "just in case" - here's exactly why we need each type:
Verify you're eligible, prevent cheating, track your entries, and randomly select winners
Notify you if you win and coordinate prize delivery (this is why we might need your email)
Stop bots, fake accounts, and people trying to cheat the system. We analyze technical information about your device, browser, and network connection, along with interaction patterns, to detect suspicious behavior across our features and keep giveaways fair
Understand how people use ScopliDrop so we can fix bugs and add useful features
When a server admin enables activity tracking, we collect daily message counts and voice channel time to power engagement analytics for that server. This helps admins understand community health and participation patterns
Occasionally reach out on Discord to ask how we can make the platform better (you can always opt out)
Comply with legal requirements like data protection laws and anti-fraud regulations

⚠️ Important: When Email Sharing Happens
Some giveaway tasks ask for your email address. Before you submit it, we'll clearly tell you that your email will be shared with the giveaway host. You can always skip email tasks if you prefer.

Kept for up to 2 years after a giveaway ends for fraud prevention, analytics purposes, and platform improvement
Fraud-Prevention Technical Data
Raw IP addresses, approximate location, and device/browser characteristics collected for fraud prevention are automatically deleted after 90 days
Account Data
Retained while you use the platform and for a reasonable period after (you can request deletion anytime)
Activity Tracking Data
Daily breakdowns (per-day message and voice buckets) are automatically deleted after 30 days. Lifetime totals like overall level and XP are kept as part of your server profile
Email Subscriptions
Kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion
Our systems automatically clean up expired access tokens and temporary data every 15 minutes. We don't keep unnecessary data lying around.
If you're in the EU (or anywhere with similar laws), you have strong rights over your personal data. Here's what you can do:

You can withdraw your consent at any time for things like email marketing. This won't affect any processing we did before you withdrew consent.
How to exercise your rights: Contact us on Discord or through our support channels. We'll respond within 30 days as required by law.
Your data might be stored on servers outside the European Union. When this happens, we ensure it receives the same level of protection as if it stayed in the EU.
We never transfer your data to countries without adequate privacy protections unless we have strong legal safeguards in place.

🎮 With Our Offerwall Provider (Earn page)
This section only applies if you visit our Earn page. If you never use the Earn feature, no data is shared with ayeT-Studios at any point during your normal use of ScopliDrop.
Our Earn page is powered by ayeT-Studios GmbH (Germany), an EU-based offerwall and surveywall provider. We use them to display optional, opt-in offers from third-party advertisers and to verify that completions credit the right account.
When you open the Earn page, we send ayeT-Studios:
We do not send ayeT-Studios your Discord ID, Discord username, profile picture, email, fraud-prevention fingerprint, any other ScopliDrop account data, or any data obtained through the Discord API. As an authorized Discord application, we are bound by Discord's Developer Policy, which prohibits sharing Discord-sourced user data with third parties for advertising, profiling, or resale. We comply with that policy in full.
When you click an offer, you leave ScopliDrop. You are redirected to ayeT-Studios's tracking domain and (typically) onward to the advertiser's site or app. From that point, ayeT-Studios's privacy policy and the advertiser's policy apply to your interaction. They may collect additional information including device identifiers, advertising IDs, geolocation (only with your permission), demographic data, and your survey responses, as described in their policies.
Some offers may require participants to be 18 or older. ayeT-Studios's services are not directed to users under 16, per their own privacy policy. By starting an offer you confirm you meet any age requirement listed by that offer.
Legal basis: contractual necessity (we cannot run the Earn feature without forwarding these fields) and our legitimate interest in offering an opt-in earning feature alongside our community engagement metric. You can ask us to revoke earning access on your account at any time via Discord support.

🤝 With Sponsors of ScopliDrop Prizes and Featured Brands
This section only applies if you participate in lootboxes that contain sponsored prizes, or interact with content we mark as sponsored. It is separate from the third-party offerwall described above.
ScopliDrop occasionally features content from brand partners we choose ourselves. This can take different forms across the platform, such as sponsored prizes contributed by partners (which may appear in lootboxes), featured banners, rewarded placements, or similar formats we may introduce over time. Sponsored content is clearly identified as such wherever it appears or whenever it is awarded.
For sponsored on-site placements (banners and similar formats):
We share only aggregate impression and click counts with the sponsor. No personal data is sent.
For sponsored lootbox prizes:
Consent and Discord Developer Policy. By opting into a lootbox round whose prize pool includes clearly labeled sponsored prizes, you consent to this limited disclosure for the sole purpose of fulfilling the prize if you win. This is the user-consent path that Discord's Developer Policy permits for sharing Discord-sourced data with a third party. Sponsors agree to use this information only to fulfill the prize and not to sell, profile, or otherwise repurpose it.
If you prefer not to share your information with a sponsor, do not open lootboxes that include sponsored prizes, or contact us via Discord support to forfeit a sponsored prize before the sponsor fulfills it.
👥 With Our Team (Internal Access)
ScopliDrop administrators and authorized staff members have access to all data stored on the platform, including giveaway entries, participant information, fraud reports, analytics, account details, and realtime operational logs. This includes realtime monitoring of platform activity such as API requests, error logs, giveaway events, and system performance metrics. This access is necessary for platform management, user support, fraud investigation, content moderation, incident response, and enforcing our Terms of Service. Team members may also contact you on Discord to gather feedback about your experience (you can always opt out)
🛡️ With Server Administrators (Fraud Detection)
When our fraud detection system identifies potential abuse (such as related accounts or suspicious activity), we may disclose the results of our detection and related account information to Discord server administrators managing the affected giveaways. We do not disclose any sensitive technical information about our fraud detection methods. Only the detection results and related accounts are shared, to help maintain fair contests.
📊 With Server Administrators (Activity Analytics)
When a server admin enables activity tracking, engagement analytics (such as top active members, participation trends, and activity breakdowns) are visible to server administrators through their dashboard
🌍 With Giveaway Hosts (Approximate Location)
Giveaway hosts may see the country (approximate location derived from your IP) of users who enter their giveaways. This is used to validate eligibility for region-locked prizes and to give hosts a high-level view of where their audience is from. Hosts never see your raw IP address, city, or precise location

All companies we work with are contractually required to follow the same data protection standards we do. They can't use your data for their own purposes.
